Camden Pruitt

Soprano Camden Pruitt from Woodstock, GA is a member of the MM in Vocal Performance program at NDSU. Camden received a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of North Georgia in May 2021. During her undergraduate degree, Camden studied with Dr. Benjamin Schoening and participated in many performance opportunities, including her first opera role as Heartmelt in Mozart’s The Impresario and as the featured soloist in Two Spirituals for Soprano and Wind Ensemble by Stephen Taylor. At NDSU, Camden studies with Dr. Mariane Lemieux-Wottrich. Camden performed as Dido in the NDSU Opera’s Fall 2021 production of Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas as well as Donna Anna from Mozart’s Don Giovanni and Countess from Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro for the NDSU Spring 2022 Opera Scenes production. Other notable experiences include being a soloist with the NDSU Concert Choir for their December production of Handel’s Messiah (O Thou that Tellest Good Tidings to Zion) and Mozart’s Vesperae solennes de confessore (Laudate Dominum).
