CALL FOR SCORES
Source Song Festival presents MNSong, a two year intensive compositional study: Art Song seminars and workshops with composers Libby Larsen
WHEN
August 4-9, 2024 and August 3-8, 2025
ELIGIBILITY
There is no upper age restriction. All applications must be at least 18 years old as of May 1, 2024.
APPLICATION FEE
Applications are due March 9, 2024. There is NO application fee.
PROGRAM FEE
There will be a $500 program fee in the first year for those selected to participate, and $250 program fee in the second year, for a $750 total for two years.
APPLICATION SCORE REQUIREMENTS
Submitted works must be:
an original song or songs no more than 10 minutes;
written for single voice and keyboard;
set to a text written in English (applicants must provide proof of permission for use of all copyrighted texts not in Public Domain).
Application Materials:
Your work- video recordings for performers, and scores/recordings for composers
A 150-word biography
A one-page song cycle proposal and artistic statement

NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE
If accepted, notice of intent to attend and the first deposit will be due April 1, 2024 (50% of tuition for year one). Remaining balance due by May 12th, 2024 (remaining amount).
