Justin Miedema

Justin Miedema is the Assistant Dean for Advancement at the University of Minnesota College of Science and Engineering, leading external relations efforts for the college.

He returned to the Upper Midwest in 2016 after nearly a decade in Seattle, most recently with the University of Washington, and now calls Saint Paul home. Prior to his higher education career, Justin worked for international architecture firm MG2 and received his Master of Architecture from North Dakota State University.

Justin served served on the board of Washington-based Transforming Age, a national non-profit provider of senior living services now operating communities in the Twin Cities metro. He was also President of the Board of Directors of the Seattle South African Scholarship Foundation.

With a zest for community and the arts, Justin is happy to play a role in advancing Source’s impact on new audiences near and far.
