Biography: |
Kristine Phillips is a Lyric Soprano based in Nashville, TN. Her most recent role was her debut as Mimì from Puccini's La Bohème with Midwest Opera Institute. She recently performed as a soprano soloist in Vaughan Williams Serenade to Music with the Nashville Symphony Chorus.
Other roles performed from past seasons are the role of Laurie from Aaron Copelands the Tender Land , and Donna Anna from Mozarts Don Giovanni alongside Nathan Gunn. Kristine completed her undergraduate education with a Bachelor’s degree in vocal performance from Middle Tennessee State University, and her Master’s degree in Vocal Performance and Literature as a Fellow at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. |

Source Moment: | My favorite Source take away was getting to understand what it really meant to collaborate. This festival was filled with beautiful people who were growing in their artistry, and I enjoyed meeting each artist, composer, and collaborative duo. It was a joy to make music together and learn! |
