Nisha Hollingsworth
Nisha is an engineer and philanthropist with over a decade of experience in the direction of 501c3 organizations that address systemic inequities in the arts.
Nisha grew up in Haslett, Michigan. She completed her Bachelor’s at Columbia University in New York City, where she served as President of Columbia’s chapter of Musical Mentors Collaborative (MMC), a nonprofit organization which aims to provide free one-on-one music education to disadvantaged youth. After graduating, she continued to work with MMC as a board member, and she has continuously served for the past 10 years. After returning to Michigan to receive her Ph.D. from the University of Michigan- Ann Arbor, she then moved to St. Paul, where she is currently a Senior Research Engineer at Solventum. Outside of science and outreach, Nisha is a classical pianist, and she enjoys cooking and traveling.
