Olivia Capozzi

Olivia Capozzi is a New York City based operatic soprano.  Recently, she was heard as Noémie in Massenet’s Cendrillon at Manhattan School of Music, as a soloist in Ned Rorem’s Evidence of Things Not Seen, and as Milica in MSM Graduate Opera Theatre’s production of Svadba. Other notable previous performance credits include the title role in Leoncavallo’s Zazà, Mrs. Gobineau in The Medium, and scenes from Der Kaiser von Atlantis, Giulio Cesare, and Die Zauberflöte. A keen lover of art song, Olivia has twice premiered new works as an MNDuo member at Source and is passionate about the creation and performance of new music in addition to digging deeper into the celebrated canon. Olivia is a graduate of Manhattan School of Music’s prestigious pre-college program, and received her Bachelor of Music from The Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam. She recently completed her Master of Music at Manhattan School of Music under the tutelage of Ruth Golden.
