Tracy Van Steenburgh

Tracy Van Steenburgh is a practicing attorney and shareholder at the law firm of Nilan Johnson Lewis, PA, in downtown Minneapolis. NJL provides legal services primarily in the areas of Labor & Employment, Mass Torts, Healthcare, Commercial Litigation, and Corporate Transactions. Tracy has been in private practice for 40 years in Minneapolis and has enjoyed working with clients to resolve legal disputes in a variety of areas, including products liability, employment, contracts and other commercial transactions, construction and eminent domain. For the last 25 years, Tracy has primarily been focused on defending cases involving medical device and pharmaceutical products in state and federal court and in representing and advising employers in connection with employment discrimination claims and cases. Tracy earned her J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri in 1982, graduating Order of Coif. She obtained her B.A. in philosophy and political science at the University of Illinois in 1979. She enjoys hiking, biking, reading, travel and takes piano lessons.
