Zac Curtis

Zac Curtis is a third-year student at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, obtaining an undergraduate degree in Vocal Performance. He currently studies composition with Dr. Stanley Fink and is advised by Eric William Barnum. As a vocalist, Zac has been a featured soloist with the Drake University Choirs, performed lead roles with Drake Opera Theatre, and been a singer on the Josh Groban Harmony Tour. As a composer, Zac has premiered both choral and solo works during his time at Drake, as part of the choir's 2023 regional/international tours as well as at multiple New Music Concerts on campus. The choirs on campus have also workshopped numerous pieces of his for revisional purposes. Recently, he has been commissioned by choirs in the Des Moines area to compose new works, and he will begin publishing original works in the near future. Outside of these endeavors, Zac has taken piano lessons for over a decade and teaches several private students locally.
